January 17th!

Wooooo!

Being back in the patent corps is great! I get so much more work done. It's wonderful.

Not much else is new here in DC. The weather has been very odd lately. On monday I went and played basketball, in shorts and a tshirt, as it was 65 degrees. Today, the high was maybe 30 degrees. I've heard that OPM will close down the government on the threat of an ice or snow storm, so I hope I experience that once this year. I'd absolutely love a free day. At least one! :)

Amanda has been making plans for the wedding and she's getting very excited. I've been excited since the day we got engaged, but I have to admit, her exitement is getting me excited. We've booked the chapel on the MSU campus as the place for the ceremony, and we're still debating where to have the reception. She's going to look at a place this friday, and from what I've seen of it online, it looks pretty nice. I'll definitely keep everyone up to date on the wedding.

That's about it! I bought two books for 1 penny off amazon and one finally showed up today..it's called "The Day of the Jackal" by Frederick Forsyth. It was recomended by a friend of mine, so I think it will be good. As I had no idea when the new books would arrive, I picked up one I bought at a charity book drive at work called Roses Are Red by James Patterson. I'm hooked already. I love books with quick chapters, and this averages 2-3 pages per chapter, so it really makes the story flow well. He's the author that wrote the books Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, which became movies featuring Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross, the detective that stars in many of Pattersons novels. It's great reading!

It's 9:15 and about my bedtime, so I better be off. Stay healthy everyone! Take care!

To the Corps!

Woooo!

Happy New Year! Friends and family! Hooray! We've all made it to 2007. It's going to be a good year. Not as good as 2006 or 2008, but that's ok, it'll still be good.

I've finished my training at the PTO, and after 7.5 months, I've joined my final group/unit. I finally get a nice office with only one other person, and I'm on the same floor of a new building with people that do the same technology as me. Now I can get help a lot easier. The move has increased my thrill for the job again, so that's good, it won't seem like pulling teeth!

Hooray!

Life is good, and not much else has happened. I spent the holidays in MI with amanda and family, that was nice. It was sad to have to come back, but work pays the bills. I hate bills, but I love money! I also love amanda and family!

Happy new year, everyone, enjoy 2007 :)
