Hello! Less than 3 months until the big day now. We're fast approaching, and plans are still in full swing.
Amanda is heading home in March for her wedding showers. The invitations are just about done, although I think I updated you in the post last week. Things are going great!
I wish I didn't have to go to work. It's not that I don't like my job, there's just so many other things that I'd rather be doing. There'll be time for those things eventually though, I suppose. Work is actually going quite well, and I'm hoping to end this quarter in a few weeks without any stress. I'm working to stay on top of all my work and even working ahead a little bit. The more i work ahead, the less i'll have to worry down the road.
Valentines day is this thursday and I'm still working on getting amanda's present put together. I already know exactly what she's getting, it's just hard getting away to purchase some of the last minute items. She's going to love the gift, I know it! :)
We went to IKEA this last weekend and bought another desk, so now I have one for my work laptop and papers, and we have another bigger one for the "family computer". It's working out great already. Yesterday we set them both up in our office and now amanda and I are both working on a computer. It's pretty great! :) We also bought a small table to sit behind two lounging chairs that we also keep in the office. Lately we've been buying more home decor items, and our place is coming together nicely! We haven't gone overboard yet, which is good, but we're getting lots of things to place around. We have wall art, candles, statues (a great one of buddha that amanda's grandmother had) and we're working our way to a full house of furniture! It's going to be a pain in the butt to move again, when we eventually get to move back to MI, but right now, it's nice to have a place that feels like home. We have several rooms we can just sit and relax in, along with our kitchen, bedroom and a guest room.
Things are going great! That's about all I can think of for the moment, but I'll stay in touch.
