Is it really spring?!
No, no it isn't, but it feels like it! Yesterday it was a blistery 74 degrees! In February! I'm not sure I'll ever get over that. It's only a 10 hour drive from home, and yet the weather is dramatically different. For example, yesterday, as I stated earlier, 74 degrees! They had a blizzard in Lansing. Crazy.
Other than the nice weather, there's not much to talk about. Not a lot has happened since I last wrote. I'm sitting at work now, taking a brief break from patenty things, waiting to go home to eat dinner. Tonight Amanda and I are trying a small little restaurant called Cafe Monti. It's advertised as Italian/Austrian Fare, and the menu looks pretty decent. Just two more hours and I get to go! :)
The wedding planning is still going full force, but it appears we're approaching the end! :) We're basically down to the last minute little things...buying a few things here and there, planning and getting things ready for the big day! The last big thing we still are in the process of finishing are the invitations. Amanda has been great with everything. She's been discussing with our invitation maker and going over some final touches before they're made and sent to us, to be sent out to everyone! Hooray!
3 months, 3days, minus about 30 minutes and we'll be officially married! I can't believe how fast our 2 year engagement has gone by! :) Well, I guess the whole engagement hasn't gone by...hence the 3 months, 3 days minus one half hour....none the less, you understand. I hope...
That's that. I better get back to work. I don't get paid to blog...which kind of stinks. If I was paid to write ideas or thoughts of my own, I'd get a lot more satisfaction out of my job. :) I'll settle for writing daily about patenty things, since that actually yields money, as opposed to my own thoughts and ramblings! :)
