Takka Takka

Quick story.

Last Thursday night (March 20th, 2008) Amanda and I were watching one of the ABC network's new shows, Eli Stone. It's a decent new show, but one of the shows you know will be canceled after the first season. Anyway, without going into details about what the show is about, as this is a "quick story", this particular episode begins with Eli (the main character) in the bathroom shaving and talking to himself in the mirror while the background music is a Takka Takka song! I couldn't believe it! Draw a map, by Takka Takka was the introduction song to the episode! I just saw Takka Takka perform a few weeks ago in Charlottesville, VA! They had their music played during a major network (ABC, as I stated earlier) during a primetime show (Eli Stone is on Thursday nights at 10:00pm).

You can even watch the show online at www.abc.com. Go to "watch full episodes" (or something similarly worded) and select Eli Stone. The episode aired (03/20/08) and it's the very first part of the episode. Exciting.
