Wow, it's december already, I can hardly believe it was 70 degrees here. The weather in the VA/DC area is definitely a lot more mild than MI. I suppose that was expected, but I still need some time to get used to it.

I went to MI for Thanksgiving, and it was very nice. I didn't get to see mom, as she was in CA, and I didn't get to see dad as I was basically busy every minute I was there. In fact, I haven't even talked to my dad lately, so I'll defintely have to call him this weekend. His birthday is coming up as well, so...happy birthday dad! Happy belated Thanksgiving!

MI was very fun, I enjoyed my time with Amanda and her family! I ate really well and had a blast!

Work is going well, I guess. My whole patent class isn't doing as well as they want, but I think we'll all make it. I'm doing fairly well, and I hope to continue on. I can be promoted anytime now! I'm working hard, and things are going well. We got a 7% raise, starting this next paycheck. That's good news! I'm pretty excited to get my first increased check! Hooray!

Lastly, I'll be back in MI again, for the christmas holiday. I return December 22nd and return to VA on the first of the year. Happy holidays!
